The Jerusalem Diet takes a one day at a time approach. Each week you begin with a target weight that is one pound less. Weigh yourself each morning, and if at your goal it is a “normal” day, which means you can eat what you like and not exercise. If you haven’t yet reached your weight it is a “fat” day, meaning that you can only eat fruits, nuts, vegetables and seeds. Only drink water on fat days and exercise for one hour. While this may seem an odd approach, it helps focus on your current weight instead of your end goal. This may be helpful for quick weight loss, and the author encourages people to combine this with other plans.

You can lose weight. No matter how ‘big’ you are, you can look good again. But you really have to do something about it, not just talk. You must diet and engage in lots of exercise.

You can tell people who lost weight through dieting and exercise from those who did it by surgery. All you need do is watch their life styles and you will see. Those who did it the easy way never really appreciate what they have, and can easily gain back the fat again. Those who went about it the hard way are more likely to stay that way for a very long time, if not forever.

You can look the way you want to with a few needles. Yes, acupuncture is yet another procedure that is claimed to help people lose weight without going through too much physical stress. All they say is needed is to cultivate the habit of making your appointments with the therapist, and you are home free. But does acupuncture weight loss really work? Only those who have gotten lasting results can say for sure.

Leaving your mind open to another person’s influence is a dangerous practice. This is why hypnotism is not a great idea for weight loss. The things the other person can do to you while you are under their influence are unprecedented and should not really be explored.

Large waists leads to death

Large waists may lead to higher mortality risk because fatty tissue around the middle produces hormones and other compounds that can lead to the development of cardiovascular diseases and cancers, the study said.

The authors said a key finding of the research was uncovering the extent of the connection between distribution of body fat and risk of dying early, independent of BMI.

“Although smaller studies have suggested a link between mortality and waist size, we were surprised to see the waist size having such a powerful effect on people’s health and premature death,” Professor Elio Riboli from Imperial College London, one of the researchers, said in a statement.
