Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

Microsoft has Window publicly defendeds in the face of different news published claiming that Google is rejecting your operating system, Windows, due to security concerns.

So far Google has not confirmed the information and has only been limited to say do not comment on its operational decisions. However, the news, originally published in the Financial Times, spread like wildfire on the Internet and Microsoft has said that this requires a quick and firm rebuttal.

Google unnamed sources told the Times that the new hires have had the option of using Apple computers or Linux machines.

The operating system Windows was the origin of an attack by Chinese hackers late last year that ended taking Google to close its search engine in China. On the other hand must take into account the interest of Google’s own operating system, Android, on which is working to challenge Windows.

Through a Brandon LeBlanc Blog, Microsoft, wrote that there has been some coverage “on the security of Windows and whether a particular company is reducing its use of Windows or not.”

“We think it is a good opportunity to clarify things,” says LeBlanc then added that security concerns also affect the software created by Google and Apple and that “when it comes to security, including Hackers admit that we are doing better job of making our products more secure than any other “.

“And it’s not just hackers, industry leaders like Cisco regularly tell us that our focus and investment in security remain higher than those of others,” LeBlanc also stated in his blog.
