Actress Brittany Murphy will be buried on Christmas Eve in Hollywood

LOS ANGELES - Actress Brittany Murphy will be buried Thursday in a private ceremony at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills, local media reported on Christmas Eve.

The comedian who starred in films like “Just Marrried”, “8 Mile” and “Clueless”, died Sunday of a heart attack at age 32 from causes that are expected in about four to six weeks, when forensic doctors available the results an autopsy.

The funeral on Thursday will be “strictly private”, according to sources at two sites specializing in the world of Hollywood, TMZ.com and RadarOnline.com.

The Police Department of Los Angeles (LAPD) ruled out criminal acts in the sudden death of the actress, known in the U.S. since its inception in the mid 90s and this week rekindled a debate over the vulnerability of the stars young Hollywood.

According to People magazine, Murphy had spent years struggling with “inner demons” associated with body image that led to problems in the recordings of some movies.

Murphy was married since 2007 with British screenwriter Simon Monjack and only child had a close relationship with his mother, Sharon, with whom he lived until his death.

Murphy’s publicist, Nicole Perna, could not be contacted to confirm the funeral, but the husband of the actress said on Thursday fired RadarOnline the comedian at the cemetery in the Hollywood Hills, where the remains of Bette Davis , Lucille Ball, John Ritter, Gene Autry, Jack Webb and Telly Savalas.
